I was confused for a while – I was adopted in 2015 and returned along with my canine sister (Queeny) 7 years later.  Apparently, we were having some accidents in the house.  Because I am 12 years old, don’t think I’m ready to cross any bridge just yet.  No sireee …. I’ve got lots of pep in my step.  

Animatch asked one of their awesome Foster Mom’s who has a soft spot for seniors to give me a little extra time and attention.  I’m always overjoyed to see her whether she is gone a few minutes or a few hours.  To date, as long as I am let out every regularly, I’ve not had an accident.  I love to be close to my FM at night and don’t mind a cuddle or two on the couch.  You might have to give me a boost to get on the couch or in your bed but hey I’ve got a doggy kiss or two for you as a reward.  I love the adventure of a walk and will never say no to a car ride.

I am really good with other dogs but prefer the older, more sedate ones – none of that rough and tumble stuff for me!  I might even be okay with cats.   I would do better in a home without small children although if you have visiting grandchildren that wouldn’t be a problem.  

I don’t have too many teeth left but hey give me a Nylabone and I’ll show you that a full set of teeth is much overrated.  Same with food, add a little liquid and I will eat whatever you put in front of me.  In fact, being with my Foster Mom has simply reassured me that there are good, caring people in this world who are ready to make my senior years the best ones.

Despite being a senior, I have a lot to live for and like all dogs I’m not going to waste any time feeling bad about the past when there is a bright future right around the corner.  If you would like to adopt me, please fill in an Application Form.  Remember, the name is Sammy.
