My name is Raclette and although my story started out a bit sad, I know it’s going to have a blockbuster ending!  I arrived at Animatch from Kuujjuarapik and on Februray 20th gave birth to six puppies.  

My six puppies and I have spent weeks in a safe, clean environment with extraordinary care and love.  I have taught them all they need to know to be well balanced dogs.  My little ones are all heading to their new homes very soon; my job is done!  Now here I am, happy and healthy and so geared up to start my new life.

I am about two years old and you should know that you will be working with clean slate – meaning I need some training and socialization!  Everything is foreign to me; car rides, walking on leash, greeting new dogs.  I simply adore taking nice long walks and guess what I really don’t pull too much.  I look forward to the day that I can proudly take strolls with you in my new neighbourhood.  I really appreciate what the word “relax” means and after a nice long walk I am content to sit by your side -- cuddles are the best too!  Winter is my favorite season so if sitting by the fireplace is what you love best in cold weather, we may not be a match.

Now I am definitely not hard to love, except what I require just as much as love is commitment.  I need you to promise that you will keep me safe and take care of me for the rest of my life.  In return, I’ll brighten up your days with my charm and undying devotion.  Whaddya say?  Am I the one?  Fill in the application and ask for me, the name is Raclette.
