Same story, different day!  My name is Vista and I am an unclaimed stray.  The good people here think no less of me.  I can’t tell them my story as none of them understand “woof”.  Then again, don’t expect a sad, sappy, poor-little-me tale.  I’m an optimist and I am convinced that my best years are the ones ahead of me.  That is what keeps me going … the thought of a family who are totally devoted to me.  

I am about 1.5-years old and Animatch knows nothing about my past.  One thing they do know is that apartment or condo living is not for me, very loud noises come out of this gal.  I must not forget to mention, that if your fence is chain-link, I can climb.  Being a hound means that if I pick up a scent, I’m off and running.  

I’ve got a wonderful disposition and tons of love packed into this sleek body -- without all the pesky, puppy problems.  Now don’t think that I’m looking for a couch potato; I may not be a puppy but I’m active and athletic.  Being a foxhound means that I have to exercise this nose each and every day. I believe that I could make you very proud at obedience training – a magnificent way for us to bond.  With all the upsets in my life, I am a little skittish; training would truly boost my confidence.  

I get along well with other dogs but would probably be too much for a cat.  Older children who understand my nose-to-the-ground disposition would be awesome.  I would be ideal for an experienced guardian who will give me the exercise and stability that I crave.  My dream home would be one where I am not alone the entire day.  

I have the makings of a best friend, extraordinary walking partner, and top-notch snuggle buddy!  I have a forgiving nature and deserve a committed family – something I’ve not yet experienced.  I’m ready for a second chance.  If you have room in your heart and your home, fill in the application form and let’s see what you have to offer.
