Hi there! I’m Kismet, a charming Keeshond with a big heart and a fluffy coat. I arrived here at Animatch with my buddy Beauregard after we were both left at a pet supply store. Since we didn’t come with any history, my new friends here are getting to know me from scratch!

Let me tell you a bit about myself and what I’m looking for in a forever home. First off, I’d love to find someone who is familiar with my breed or has done their homework about Keeshonds. We’re a unique bunch, and it’s important that my new family understands my needs.

I can be quite vocal, so apartment or condo living isn’t for me – I need a place where I can express myself freely without worrying about disturbing the neighbors. And let’s talk about my coat: it’s luxurious but high-maintenance. I shed a lot and need regular brushing to keep me looking my best. Shaving isn’t an option, so be ready to invest some time in my grooming.

Daily walks and some playtime are right up my alley, but don’t worry, I’m not hyper and don’t need excessive exercise. I’m pretty easygoing and get along well with other dogs. However, I’m still learning about leash walking and could use some training in that area. A refresher course in toilet training would also be helpful.

One of my best qualities is that I’ve never met a stranger – I love human companionship and can’t wait to be someone’s best friend. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion, I might just be the perfect match for you!
