How did I get here you ask?  I started my journey in Waswanipi, a Cree community, located in Central Quebec.  I have no fear of people; in fact, I may have been someone’s dog at one time but then found myself alone and cold (there is no Husky fur on this girl to keep me warm).  Thanks to Sarah Saintsbury of Forever Homes Rescue I made the trip south and then onto Animatch.

My name is Delta and I am a petite mix who loves everyone I meet.  My tail wags a mile a minute every time I make friends with another human.  The Volunteers feel that I have a lot of potential – not sure what that means but I’ve got lots of it!  If you take me to obedience training to make the finishing touches, I will be a dog that makes you proud.  

I get along with other dogs and love to take long walks – we can go shopping for a winter coat!  Since there is no history on me, Animatch would prefers a home where kids are respectful and over 8 years old.  I’m on the lookout for a family who will provide me with a soft bed, healthy food, clean water, and a belly rub at least once a day.  

Most importantly, you need to be ready to commit for the next 10 to 15 years.
