Update - Feb 15: Charro just checking in to make sure that you take a look at me in my new photo shoot. Super-model material for sure. I'm still waiting, along with several other Northern Dogs. I can't wait to find out what family life is all about.

Charro here and you won’t meet a Husky more Husky than me!  After a long trip from Whapmagoostui, I am now on the lookout for a Husky-savvy family that has lots of time to give me love, guidance and attention.  I have made it this far in my journey for a new life, maybe you can help me with my ultimate dream – a forever home.  

I definitely need a human committed to my exercise and workout regime.  I have come from a life where I spent a lot of time outdoors.  Although, I want to be wherever you are, my wish is for a family who will provide lots of adventures in the open air and lots of play time in the snow (can’t wait) in a securely fenced yard.  I love being on the go with my human, so you best be prepared to get off that couch! Believe me I love a cuddle and belly rub session but I am no slouch, and I like to play play play!

Now, I have no idea what this whole leash thing is all about.  You hook me up to it and then expect me to walk at your pace.  We are going to need to work on that!  My canine buddies yap that I should not worry, obedience training will fix the problem.  I am counting on your patience, time and effort and a steady supply of liver treats.  

I get along with other dogs but I need a proper introduction.  With the right dog, I enjoy a good Husky play session.  But if you ask me, cats or other small critters are for hunting!
