I am a Beagle, hear me arooooo.  Every snack you make, every meal you bake, I’ll be watching you.

My name is Bud and my next home will be my third.  I’m a happy boy who just needs some guidance and a patient hand to help me reach my full potential as a well-trained family pet. I won’t give up on you, and I expect the same.

I am NOT destructive said no beagle ever.  Let’s go out shopping for lots of chew toys and interesting doggy stuff.  Of course, we Beagles need to use our nose and do Beagley things.   A tired Beagle is a good Beagle.  It would be cool if you are interested in putting me and my nose to work, I’m sure we could find some fun activities to use my talents.  

I have a single-minded interest in things that have interesting smells (even from a mile away).  A Beagle’s favorite day is garbage day!  So, I will need several walks a day where I get a chance to explore my environment through my nose.  

Now I must always be on leash as I have that beagle personality quirk called “selective deafness”.  This means that the hearing is turned off and all the yelling in the world won’t make me come back.  A fenced yard will keep me safe and give me a chance to explore with my nose, without running off to catch an interesting scent without you.

I get along with other dogs as long as they are not bullies.  I have a blast with the canines in my play group.  You bet your toboggan I love hanging with my person too.  Summer will soon be upon us and I promise to be your right-hand dog when BBQ season is upon us.  I also like getting out to run some laps around the backyard, play some scent games, and watch you BBQ those hot dogs.
