Update - May 25: Sadly, Beddy was returned and the person who returned her stressed that it was in no way because Beddy was not a good dog. In fact, she was as sweet and lovable as anyone could wish for. Beddy needs a home .... a forever one this time!

Do you like your dogs big and bulky?  Well that is certainly not me. I weigh only 8 lbs!  But what I lack in size, I more than make up for in cuteness, charm and a desire to lavish love on my guardian.

So, why am I here you ask.  Well, my human decided that bringing more Yorkies into the world was not a good idea.  I am only three years old so I have many, many years to be someone’s cherished pet – no strings attached.

Yorkies do tend to be vocal so we must work on that.  The solitary life is not for me and I am inclined to panic and bark; therefore, I would be grateful to find a home where I am not alone all day.  

I do have luxating patellas – aka trick knees – but I show no symptoms and do not require surgery.  Lots of walking to strengthen the muscles that support my knee is all that I need at this time.

My scruffy good looks and my spunk are a bonus but I could really use a boost in my confidence right now.  A family that can offer me stability, training, and lots of attention would be so appreciated.  Obviously, we will have to work on my toilet training skills; it just wasn’t important in my previous life.
