January 17th marks the date of Betty White’s birthday. Betty was an incredibly talented actor and a huge supporter of animal rescue, sadly she passed away just shy of her 100th birthday, on December 31, 2021. The Betty White honorarium campaign held in 2022 raised just under $13 million US for animal rescues! Alberta and Ontario alone raised over $300,00 combined!
Can you show your love for Betty White and help Animatch’s own Betty White? Our little Betty was picked up by animal control as a stray. She was held for the required time but no one came to claim her. Betty is a two-year-old Chihuahua who is staying with one of our very experienced Foster Mom’s to receive some extra one on one attention, including work on toilet training. She is also receiving a home evaluation and is being socialized with other dogs, cats and humans, including little people and men. She had made great strides in the short time she has been with her Foster Mom and will be ready to bring love and companionship to a new guardian.
