Donations to our Emergency Fund allow Animatch to take action when we are faced with a dog in crisis who is depending on our help. Loki and Bosco have been at Animatch for a while but Vets have determined that in order to continue to live their best life, amputation of their front leg is recommended. Both have gone through incredible adversity in their young lives and both deserve a chance at a pain-free life. Animatch has humble beginnings. It was founded in 1999 by Helen Lacroix, a busy wife and mother. Her grassroots movement started around her kitchen table. Helen credits her parents with instilling in her their love and concern for animals. Today, Animatch boasts a centre with accommodation for a dozen dogs and a dedicated team of volunteers.
