Update - March 21: You win some, you lose some! Unfortunately, Melody's adoption did not work out. Although Melody made progress in many areas, her family felt that they could not cope with the fact that she was still having accidents. In her previous life, it was not an issue. Patience and consistency are what Melody needs. She deserves a family who are committed to seeing this through. This gentle Cocker is so worth the effort. She's back at Animatch and hooping it's not for long. Fill in the Application Form if you would like to adopt this gentle girl.

Melody has been promised a family – not in time for Christmas but we hope one day soon.  As you can see, she has been busy over the years and now she is ready to put one paw in front of the other and become someone’s beloved dog.  Are you ready to give a lot of your time and provide an abundance of love to a dog who is so ready to experience some joy in her life?  

Animatch is on the lookout for a guardian with persistence, consistency, and a healthy dose of realism.  Melody simply oozes sweetness and love and is so ready for her first home.  Although she is 6.5 years old, she may require a refresher in toilet training.  Walks on leash are totally foreign to her; nonetheless, she loves the sound of a human’s voice, so encouraging words will make her put one foot in front of the other.  It may not be easy, but it will be gratifying.  Although she may never be a jogging partner, she is ready to discover the fun of long walks.  

Melody loves other dogs and would blossom in a home with another well-adjusted canine.  If you have the experience and the desire to give Melody her first real family, you will never experience anything sweeter.  Remember, adopting a dog is a lifetime commitment.  Please fill in an application form if you would like to adopt Melody.
