About

Zofie

UPDATE - May 24: Zofie checking in. I am so happy that all my puppies will be going to their new, wonderful homes this coming weekend (if all goes as planned). My role as caretaker and protector is over and now it is my turn to be someone's special girl. I know that there is nothing like puppy breath and the total innocence of a baby but with me ... what you see is what you get! Another plus is that you don't have to guess what size I will be ... again, what you see is what you get! I look forward to a different life and will so appreciate having a home with a soft bed, good food, lots of nice walks, and plenty of belly rubs. I'm ready now to start my new life.

My name is Zofie and although my story started out a bit sad, I know it’s going to have a blockbuster ending!  I arrived at Animatch from Kuujjuarapik and during my routine vet visit, we discovered that I would soon have puppies.

My five puppies and I have spent weeks in a safe, clean environment with extraordinary care and love.  I have taught them all they need to know to be well balanced dogs.  My little ones are all heading to their new homes very soon; my job is done!  I am especially happy that Zsa Zsa has a devoted family – she has such a special place in my heart!  Now here I am, happy and healthy and so geared up to start my new life.

I am only about one year old and you should know that you will be working with clean slate – meaning I need some training and socialization!  Everything is foreign to me; car rides, walking on leash, greeting new dogs.  I simply adore taking nice long walks and guess what I really don’t pull too much.  I look forward to the day that I can proudly take strolls with you in my new neighbourhood.  I really appreciate what the word “relax” means and after a nice long walk I am content to sit by your side -- cuddles are the best too!

Now I am definitely not hard to love, except what I require just as much as love is commitment.  I need you to promise that you will keep me safe and take care of me for the rest of my life.  In return, I’ll brighten up your days with my charm and undying devotion.  Whaddya say?  Am I the one?  Fill in the application and ask for me, the name is Zofie.
