Are you on the lookout for a friend, a pal, a best bud? Hey! I’m a Scrappy, and I’m at your service …. ready to take on the job of being your BFF.   We could hang out and do interesting things.   I mean, I am a rough and tumble kind of guy and I’m sure I could quickly learn all about catching frisbees and bringing them back, going for long walks while soaking up the aromas of the neighborhood, and taking car rides to the pet store to buy me some cool toys.     I just want to hang out with you and be besties!  I’m fun, adventurous, social, and outgoing, so an active lifestyle would be right up my alley.

I’ve come a long way in the past few weeks.  My fur buds and I arrived at Animatch from Mexico in search of a better life.  Apparently, my rescuers found me wandering around the streets – terrified, desperate, and disoriented.  So, they promised that they would do all they could to find me what all dogs deserve – a family that would love and care for me for the rest of my days.  It’s clear that I had a pretty rough start to life, but I have made great progress and am gaining confidence by the day.   It’s like dusk to dawn…the difference a gentle hand, a soft bed and a lot of love can make!  Ah, and don’t forget those liver treats!

My ideal family would be one who realize it might take me more than a minute to adjust.  At two years old, I have never known what it is like to have a human to train and guide me.  I am now ready to find a forever family who is just as excited about bringing me into their lives as I am about joining them.  I am not a couch potato but after a busy day, I’m not opposed to chillin’ on the couch.
