Update: Royce here and I’m back; wow did I love having a home – there is nothing like it. I’ve been promised another one.
There was no lack of love for me (can you blame them; I can be so endearing) but sadly I don’t always play well with other dogs. I tend to become overly protective of my human. The other two dogs were wonderful to me but it just wasn’t the right dynamic and the family made the difficult decision to bring me back. Sometimes it is no one’s fault – just one of those things!
My original bio (below) is all true with the exception that I should be your one and only dog. I will wait patiently for Take 2. I know that there is a Husky-loving family out there that is meant for me.
If you have what it takes to adopt me, fill in the application and let us know that you are interested. I can be packed and ready to go in a flash.
My name is Royce and I am so ready to lap up all the love that a Husky savvy family can offer. In return, I promise to be the best sidekick you could ask for. I love nothing more than to be beside my human getting ear scratches and belly rubs – but only after I have had my daily dose of exercise.
I’m a Northern girl from Kuujjuarapik whose been given the opportunity to find a forever home in this neck of the woods. I am used to wide open spaces and being able to roam freely but everyone agrees that I am adjusting well to my new environment. Of course, my own securely fenced back yard would be a treat! If you are not the outdoorsy type, I may not be the right dog for you.
I get along well with other dogs; cats – that’s a different ball game. My prey drive kicks in and the chase is on. I could use some work in the training department but I am smart and pick up very quickly; with the help of a liver treat, I can learn anything! Obedience training with lots of positive reinforcement sound like it could be a fun time for both of us. I promise to give it my all and make you proud. I would do better with older children; it’s not that I don’t like kids of all sizes but I have a bad habit of taking treats very roughly! We’ll need to work on that!
So, let’s cut to the chase. I am looking to score myself a committed family, one who will appreciate what a wonderful, loving dog lies within this goofy exterior. If you think you have what I need, then please fill in an application and mention my name … ROYCE!
Please note that due the volume of applications, we are unable to respond to all applicants and ONLY those being considered will be contacted. We thank you for your understanding. The adoption application link is posted below and the adoption process is outlined on the website. Animatch asks that you read the Adoptee’s bio in its entirety before applying to ensure you meet the requirements for the dog.
