My name is Panko and if you adopt me, you will quickly realize that I have been blessed with the sweetest temperament.  Now, I am still a dog who has needs and my ideal home should be one where I am not alone too much during the day – I don’t particularly enjoy solitude.  I would also be grateful for a home with lots of soft, cozy beds, plenty of stuffies, and oodles of outdoor time on sunny days.  

Don’t think because I’m a chihuahua that I am a total couch potato.  There is nothing better than exercising my legs and nose on a gorgeous day.  After I am all tuckered out, I will find a cozy spot in the sun or a warm lap to catch forty winks.  I get along with other dogs – especially Chihuahuas and I am not opposed to sharing my space with a feline friend.  Respectful kids who know how to treat tiny dogs are also welcome.  

My family felt that they did not have the time for me; especially since they were gone all day.  Like many Chis, a refresher in toilet training will be required.  I am 5.5 years old and I know some of you think that I am “over the hill” but let me tell you there is plenty of zip in this boy. Everyone wants the puppy or adolescent dogs but I tell you if you lower your standards, you increase your odds.
