Adopting Lili would be a first step in the right direction; helping her overcome her fears would be the next project.  Lili was one of a litter of six Coconut Hound puppies; five have been adopted.  Lili was the last one to make the journey from Dominican Republic to Animatch.  Whoever adopts Lili will be giving her the first and only home she has ever known.  

This gentle dog is looking for a human that has experience, patience, a calm lifestyle and the time to help Lili be the best dog she can be.  

When you first meet Lili, she will often be on the other side of a room, trembling a little, and avoiding any possible interaction.  If you give her a few minutes and speak to her softly, you might just make a friend.  Once she is comfortable, she is a love bug.   Her family must simply give her the time to get accustomed to new people and situations.  

Lili can use some practice on how to walk on a leash so that she can find the joy in daily outings around the neighbourhood.  She is still wary of sudden movements or new environments, so a calm home situation and a slow pace would be best!   Of course, when she has settled in obedience training would be a great way to boost her self-assurance.  

There will be something magical about the moment you see Lili finally relax.
