“Layla, we’re going on a road trip,” they said. “You are gonna love it,” they added. What they didn’t tell me was …. baby, it’s cold up here. First on the “to do” list for my adoptive family is a shopping spree. On my list would be a nice warm coat, maybe some boots, a cozy bed, and possibly a few liver treats.
Thanks to Central Texas Rufugees, me and five of my best canine pals made the recent trip to Animatch. I greet everyone with a happy …. but shy … tail wag. Not to worry about the bashful part, it doesn’t take me too long to feel comfortable. I promise I have the makings of a pro snuggle bug. I am about to make one lucky family very happy.
I am three years old and I am a petite girl. That doesn’t mean that I need to be carried around everywhere, I like to use these legs of mine. Let’s bundle up and hit the pavement. I am eager to please so if you would like to share some quality time with me, we could sign up for obedience training. Don’t let anyone tell you that small dogs don’t need training. I’d like to prove that we can make a great team – I work even harder with lots of praise and a few tasty treats.
Not much history on me so you will have to be satisfied that you are getting a dog that is going to be totally devoted to you. I was found curled up on the side of a highway in Texas. Some good Samaritans called the fire depts (gotta love those guys) to come and scoop me up. I thank my lucky stars that I am still here.
I am a happy-go-lucky pooch who will be just excited to go for a walk, a car ride, or have a snooze beside you on the sofa. I would do okay with another dog in the home but would be equally happy as your one and only.
Do I sound like a catch? It’s time for some serious snuggling. Fill in the Application Form, you may be the lucky one to meet me.
Please note that due the volume of applications, we are unable to respond to all applicants and ONLY those being considered will be contacted. We thank you for your understanding. The adoption application link is posted below and the adoption process is outlined on the website. Animatch asks that you read the Adoptee’s bio in its entirety before applying to ensure you meet the requirements for the dog.
