California dreamin’ on a winter’s day – my Foster Mama wanted to name me and my littermates after her favorite spots in California. It warms her heart on those frigid days when she is running around cleaning up after us; she does a lot of California dreamin on those winter days. So, my name is Laguna and my sisters are Topanga, Malibu, Zuma, and Ventura.
We recently made the trip from Chisisabi. Family planning isn’t thriving in my neck of the woods. Spay/neuter is the only way to stop this and that doesn’t mean only in Quebec, it means everywhere.
Such a little cutie! I hear that a lot. I’m such a sweetie …. just lookin’ for love and a forever home to adopt me! Of course, I am only interested in one that will be committed to me for the next 10 to 15 years. My sisters and I are firm on that.
I am on the lookout for gentle hands to pet me, some strong arms to hold me and a warm lap to curl up next to. I love to play with my littermates so a dog to keep me company would be awesome. Cats would be okay too! Of course, they would need to be cats that are dog savvy. I wouldn’t mind children either…as long as they are ready to romp around with me and don’t mind the fact that I am teething and have not yet learned to keep all fours firmly planted on the ground.
I’m counting on you to teach me all there is to know about being a good canine citizen; the only way to do that is to sign us BOTH up for obedience training. Don’t let anybody tell you that adopting a puppy is a walk in the park; sure, we’ll have some great times and make some lasting memories but puppies are a lot of work. In order to adopt me and raise me properly, I will need a home where I am not alone for more than a few hours.
If you think that you are the perfect home for one of us, then tell us all about yourself. I’m waiting to hear from you. Fill in the Application Form and maybe we can meet.
Please note that due the volume of applications, we are unable to respond to all applicants and ONLY those being considered will be contacted. We thank you for your understanding. The adoption application link is posted below and the adoption process is outlined on the website. Animatch asks that you read the Adoptee’s bio in its entirety before applying to ensure you meet the requirements for the dog.
