My name is Kyla and at less than a year old, I had a litter of puppies.  Before coming to Animatch I lived in Waskaganish; sadly, there are simply not enough homes for all the puppies born there.  Sterilization needs to happen but it isn’t as easy in remote areas.  Someday, I hope things will change.  In the meantime, the global birthrate is on the decline … for humans not puppies!  And way too many puppies continue to be born.  

So far, I have spent most of my life outside and often tied up so I really need to learn the basics of being a good canine citizen.  I hear that training and liver treats usually do the trick.  Now that I have done my job as a Mom and my puppies are ready to go, I have all the time in the world to learn the ABCs of good canine behaviour.  

I am still an adolescent so if you are looking for a running or hiking partner, I would love to accompany you.  I might even like to try some dog sports; I am always keen and up for a challenge.  Being from the North means that I am not compatible with cats.  Sorry!
