My name is Kelly and my human and I had a good run together … for 4.5 years.  I was well loved, well cared for, and bonded with my human.  Only problem was that my guardian had health issues and was unable to keep me.  Things change and I just have to roll with it.  

Have you always dreamt of a wonderful pooch like me – sleek easy-care coat, athletic, eager to learn anything you would like to teach me.  And best of all well past all that puppy nonsense.  I get along with other dogs but I am not sure that I could share my home with a cat!  

We Pointers are not couch potatoes; daily walks, hikes, and opportunities to run are a must.  Retrieving balls and frisbees might be fun too; you can give it a try.  I could use a little work when it comes to walking on leash.  Let’s sign up for obedience training.  They will teach you plenty of tricks that you can use to become the best dog guardian ever.

At times, I do express my feelings vocally.  I will always alert you to an approaching UPS driver, the mail person, or an errant squirrel.  Apartment or condo living would not be for me.
