As you may know, in certain parts of the world dogs are treated differently and often times are faced with neglect and even abuse. There is no blame to be placed, it is simply that there are limited resources insofar as veterinary care and animal protection are concerned.  Animatch has seen this first hand so when an opportunity came to help out, we just couldn’t say no.

We understand that sometimes you just can’t control who you fall in love with.  We hope that for some families their furry companion may come from a bit further away. The level of enthusiasm among people might vary but, in the end, we have taken one dog from a life of uncertainty -- and in some cases suffering -- and given him the chance at a stable and loving home.  And, that is a good thing!

Meet Jenna, part of a litter of several puppies from the Dominican Republic.  Jenna has a calm and gentle demeanor but she is extremely shy.  We know that she will bond strongly with her family in time but another well-balanced dog in the home would certainly help.  

As with any dog, Jenna will need some time to adjust to her new home. We ask that you provide her with love and patience – we know that she will return the favor many times over.  Jenna will bond strongly with her people and in time will be an excellent addition to a family.
