My name is Gamble and I’m looking for a place to hang my hat ... or my leash! I am about 4 years old and I recently was transferred from another rescue called “Friends to the End Dog Rescue” in Ontario. They go on rescue missions and try to help as many of us as they can so that we can experience the life of a family dog.
I have taken a lot of hard knocks in my short little life as you will see by my scars. Despite the rough start, I have all the potential to be the loving, loyal, and trusting companion you’re longing for; though I have a journey ahead to reach this goal. Obedience training will go a long way in boosting my confidence. Please don’t think that taking classes once a week or getting a trainer to come in to our home is the quick fix. Training is an every-day-for-life thing, especially for shy dogs like me. We need to go out daily and practice; make it fun!
I will need my fair share of exercise in the form of long walks, hikes, and someday I may even retrieve that Frisbee. Since I am lacked some socialization in my early years, a home where I am not alone all day would best suit me.
Well,do I sound like a catch? I bet you are smitten already. You know the drill. Fill in the Adoption Form and do ask for Gamble!
Please note that due the volume of applications, we are unable to respond to all applicants and ONLY those being considered will be contacted. We thank you for your understanding. The adoption application link is posted below and the adoption process is outlined on the website. Animatch asks that you read the Adoptee’s bio in its entirety before applying to ensure you meet the requirements for the dog.
