Frilly here and although I am 8.5 years old, these Minpin genes just don’t quit.  You can expect many more years with me.  I had a human who cared for me but their illness prevented me from staying in my home.  I spent a few weeks with another person but it did not work out – it seems that I am a relentless cat chaser.  A feline free environment is required.

I can’t begin to explain the feeling of utter sadness and loss that I am experiencing because everything that was once familiar to me is no more.  But all the dogs at the centre yap that I should not get discouraged … better days are ahead.  So now I prefer not to dwell on that because I’m a happy girl and don’t like to surround myself with negative energy.  

I am looking for that special someone who has a real desire to be with me.  I am not like all those other dogs who just sniff and run. I want something real; I want to feel a spark between us.  I am at that perfectly mature age where I will let you have some peace and quiet but I still have plenty of energy to join you on daily adventures.  Several walks through the neighbourhood would be appreciated.  All these changes in my life have caused a lapse in my toilet training skills; a little patience and consistency will get me back on track.

I get along with other dogs but my main focus will be my human.  If there are children in the home, they should be older and respectful of a senior dog.  I do tend to be vocal when I am left alone, so I think apartment/condo living would not be for me.  If you want to truly help a dog and make a huge difference in my life, then please fill in the Application Form.
