Darby here and I got the golden ticket!   It says right here, “Redeemable for one fantastically wonderful forever family!”  Thankfully my three buddies and I are safe after an unfortunate series of events; we were stranded on the side of a road where we had been unceremoniously dumped!  Animal Control came to the rescue and picked us up.  And, here I am safe and sound and waiting to cash in this golden ticket!  

If there are any forever-family candidates out there reading this, I just want you to know that I am definitely best friend material.  It appears that I have not had much in the way of training and socialization but we can work on that together.  At one year old we have plenty of time to make me best friend material.  

Remember, you are giving me my first real home.  So, if I go in and pee on the floor, or if I help myself to the hamburger thawing on the counter, or if I chew on your new fur lined slipper, and you are ready to throw in the towel … then you just aren’t ready for a dog!  

At just one year old, you can count on lots of walks and plenty of play time.  If you are into dog sports, lead the way!  Rest assured that if you adopt me you must not be looking for a couch potato.  

Best guess is that I am some kind of Poodle mix (aka Doodle).  One thing we cannot guarantee is that if you have allergies you won’t react.  We are mixes; therefore, keep that in mind.

I am ready to take on the world one paw and a time and prove that second hand dogs make first rate pets.  Fill in the application form and ask for Darby.
