I must warn you that I take some time to warm up, but once I do, I am a sweetheart. I arrived from Whapmagoostui with my seven puppies; in fact, they have adjusted a lot quicker than I. Strange hands trying to pull me in one direction and faces I didn’t recognize made me a little fearful and shut down. You must be able to provide love, guidance, and stability; this partnership must last forever. I’m on the lookout for a patient guardian who will give me the time and space to come around and feel comfortable.
I get along with other dogs who respect my space. As with many dogs from the North (where food is not plentiful) I am not into sharing – you must feed us separately. Because of my fear issues, I could be a flight risk. For that reason, a home with a fenced yard would be ideal.
My puppies (all named after hot sauces) will be leaving for their new homes in the next two weeks. I would love nothing more than to see them all off and then join my very own family. What a story book ending that would be!
My future should include lots of physical activity; be prepared -- rain, snow, cold doesn’t bother me. I’ve come to appreciate clean, dry bedding, toys and Nylabones, tasty food and fresh water. If you look forward to doing obedience training using positive reinforcement (i.e., delicious treats), I can rise to super dog status. It would also be a sure way to develop a permanent bond between us.
I know that I am special, I’m worth the work, and I have so much to offer a committed family. Can you see a permanent relationship in the making? Fill in the Application Form and ask for Da’Bomb.
