Update - May 17: Some dogs have all the luck.  They are adopted, go to a wonderful home, and live the remainder of their days with the same family.  My story with regard to adoption is that of a revolving door.  I leave, I come back; I leave, I come back.  I am not responsible in any way for my current situation and Animatch has sworn to me that this will not happen again.  First time I went out with the intention of me becoming a service dog; however, my fear of some men prevented me from pusuing that career. I am back a second time because the resident dog did not appreciate my presence.

Please, please, please do not even consider adopting me if you don’t think having a dog is a lifetime commitment.  Keep in mind that it takes time to adapt to a new home. No dog should go through being homeless – it’s a life experience that every dog dreads. I am confident that my perfect home lies ahead; in fact, I dream of it every night.  Please consider making me part of your family. Simply fill in the Application Form

"Believe you can and you are halfway there." I believe I can make a better life for myself by being the dog of your dreams.  So, I guess I am halfway to your heart already.  

My name is Colada and I am a proud Lab x Shepherd.  I was transferred to Animatch as an unclaimed stray, although I prefer the term unclaimed treasure.  I’m a sensitive girl, a quick learner, a hard worker, and a skilled companion.  Difficult to believe that no one would come looking for me.

Like all dogs, I put one paw in front of the other and bear no ill will to my previous family.  I get along with the other dogs in my playgroup and adore taking long walks.  Since, I arrived with absolutely no history Animatch prefers that I go to a home with respectful, older children.  

I think I would enjoy doing some training with my new guardian; reward-based training, of course!  I am old enough to understand that I should keep all fours firmly planted on the ground but young enough to share many adventures with you.  Oh, did I tell you I’m always up for a scratch behind the ears.
