My name is Chewie and if you like a guy with an underbite, you will find me quite charming. I bet you’d love to just scoop me up and take me home. I am full of energy and spunk so I’m on the lookout for an active family. My mix is an interesting one – Shih Tzu and Pug. Pugs and Shih Tzus can be mellow but not when they are less than two years old.
I recently made the long journey with a few of my buddies from Chisasibi. My family loved me but were not able to find an apartment that would accept me. I have never met a stranger and the humans around here are quite entertaining – they talk to me, cuddle me, and even scratch my tummy! I admit, I quite enjoy it and I have been promised that this could be a daily occurrence in my new home!
I still need guidance and some more training. If you take me to obedience training classes, we could definitely work on leash walking and my basic commands. I’m sure I’d graduate at the head of the class. I can be quite chatty so apartment/condo living would not be for me; in fact, I’d love a fenced yard so I can run around and keep the squirrels off your property.
One of the conditions for adopting me is that I will not go with just any family that happens to think I’m the cat’s meow. Nope, I am not about to leave Animatch unless you are looking for a long-term relationship. So, think about it.
