Puppies, puppies, and more puppies!  Nothing cuter, right.  Animatch’s fondest wish would be that the puppies would just stop coming.  Many are saved but so many are lost!  Brisk and his two littermates were the result of a long and time-consuming rescue.  The pups were hidden under a building and were somewhat feral.  They arrived totally disoriented and petrified.

For his first few weeks of life, no doubt he, Nestea and Snapple were consumed by fear.  But, they survived and from that day forward Animatch and his rescuers were committed to giving them the life every dog deserves.  

Whapmagoostui is trying to make changes but it is a long and hard battle for the people that want to make those changes.  If dogs in the community were sterilized and could count on a home that would commit to them and their safety for 10 to 15 years, the situation for Northern dogs would be so much better.  A dog with a home with people to rely on is wonderful no matter where they live.  Our band aid solution is not the answer.  

Brisk needs an experienced, adult home or one with older, dog-savvy children. A calm, well-balanced, dog to show him the ropes would help.  What is most important is that his family be loving, patient and totally committed to him for the remainder of his days.  He deserves no less.
