Bobby here and I am on the lookout for the best gift a dog could ever hope for -- a forever family.   Word on the doggy grapevine is that this is the place to make it happen.   Can you believe my luck?  

Couch potatoes – I am not your dog.  I need plenty of walks (peppered with a lot of stiff sniffs), hikes, and playtime.  Then and only then will I show you my award-winning cuddling style.  Being a Schnauzer means that I am quick to sound the alarm -- not apartment or condo material.  A single-dwelling house with a fenced yard would suit me perfectly.  Rest assured there will never be another squirrel or rabbit on your property.

I still have a lot of that puppy nipping going on and I still need to learn to keep all fours firmly planted on the ground.  My canine pals woof that my new family will take care of that with obedience training.  They also yip that there is usually a liver treat if I make the right move.  I’m so ready for that; let’s have some fun.

I was brought to Animal Control because I was simply too much dog for my human who had me for a very short time.   Adopting an adolescent or young dog is nearly as much work as adopting a puppy – especially a young dog who has had no training.    Good looks only get you so far!
