There is nothing like a Golden Girl who loves everyone she meets, enjoys relaxing when her human relaxes, walking when you walk, and watching television when you watch (Animal Plent is my absolute favorite). If you adopt me, I plan on adding as much joy to your life as you do to mine.
I was adopted at Animatch four years ago. Life threw my family a curve ball and sadly, the time with them came to an end. Animatch was asked to once again find me a home. I have been through a lot of disappointments in my life but my love for humans never wanes.
I do not think of myself as a senior … more as a millennial. This girl is a boat load of charm and at the age of 12 I don’t act a day over 10! The Volunteers around here say that I have a grace and wisdom that will make each day shared with my human so special.
My hips are not the greatest so I’m taking some supplements to help with that. Being a senior doesn’t mean I don’t need any exercise, the old saying “use it or lose it” applies to dogs too. We don’t have to run or jog -- what’s the hurry? Let’s enjoy the time we have strolling through the neighbourhood. Now I do tend to kick up a fuss when I meet another dog on a walk but it’s just my way of telling them to buzz off and I’m busy. I would do best as your one and only; I want to spend my last years totally devoted to my human.
If you know Goldens, you know that our one true focus is our human – even if they do disappoint us from time to time. All I need to be happy and feel safe is a little time to adjust and patience. Then I guarantee I will be full of tail wags and doggy kisses.
I promise to bring lots of joy and laughter to my next home – it’s just a matter of time before I’m settling in with my new family once and for all. Home at last!
