Agatha needs your help. Another pup whose life will end without surgery for a liver shunt. Preliminary tests have already added up to $3,000. Animatch is awaiting a report as to whether she can now proceed to surgery. There is no alternative cure or therapy. One thing we do know for sure is that dogs should not be bred by breeders who do not commit to the well-being of their pups. If you can help Agatha, any donation – big or small – would be so appreciated.
Animatch has humble beginnings. It was founded in 1999 by Helen Lacroix, a busy wife and mother. Her grassroots movement started around her kitchen table. Helen credits her parents with instilling in her their love and concern for animals. Today, Animatch boasts a centre with accommodation for a dozen dogs and a dedicated team of volunteers.
