Yeti is a spunky, 6-year-old, Shih Tzu mix who found himself at the pound – unclaimed and unwanted. We know that animals suffer in silence and it is so frustrating that they can’t tell us. Even more sickening is the pain is usually caused at the hands of humans. Neglect is definitely a form of abuse. Yeti has a broken jaw; a few of his teeth were in such bad condition that the infection they caused ate away at his jaw until it finally broke. Dr. Plasse, our Vet and Superman to many of our dogs in need of “repair”, will perform surgery and try rectify the problem in order for Yeti to live pain free. Our emergency funds will be depleted, but there is no better reason than to give relief to a dog in a time of crisis. Helping dogs like Yeti only happens through the generous hearts of people who donate when a dog is in need. Yeti needs a haven where he will be given loving care for the rest of his life. He longs for the day when his human will take him home and fill his life with love, cuddles, and belly rubs. Yeti can be quite barky, so no apartment or condos for him. Where did you find this dog? I was living in ste-therese and we move in lac-st-jean december 19 2011. 3 days before we leave,Guizmo was stolen. If it’s Guizmo and you find him in ste-therese area,please call me at 418-347-1474

Melanie Plourde if it is your dog.. WOW would I be happy .. I saw him last Saturday at ‘“‘Meet an Greet “”.. What a nice boy .. Hope The surgery relives him from pain .. I will gladly contribute towards his surgery ..I will do so much for all those helpless fury babies with no defense .They all need a lovable and stable home .. In the mean time they are loved by all the wonderful volunteers at the shelter .. Big hug to you YETI…
