T.C. is presently Adopted
My name is T.C. (which stands for “too cute”) and I was brought to the pound by my previous owners because they did not have enough time for me. I love hanging out with my human and I do enjoy a good belly rub. I haven’t been able to explain one of my fears to the nice people at the Centre—I am quite afraid of men. I am certain that with the help of a patient person who can help me realize that men are kind and gentle, I will overcome my fear. Since Animatch has very little information about my past life, a home with adults or older children would best suit me. I do like to go for walks and playing outside is lots of fun. If you promise to give me my furever home, I will treat you every day to a wagging tail and little wet kisses. And, what do I expect in return? Not much—- just going to a home where I will be loved so much, I won’t even remember how sad and hurt I used to be. So fill in that Adoption Form; I can be packed and ready to go in a flash.

Ah geez Debbie .... I so do not want to go look .... I saw the picture of Bandit ( Prince ) on Kat’s fb page and I saw Camy in him .... especially with him being under weight…. we just can’t rite now… for us it’s too raw….we see Camy or I should say we search for Camy in every furbaby.. that is just not fair to the live little Yorkie…some days are worst than others, we hug our two furbabies - thankfull that they are with us, helping us thru all of the what ifs .... how are we going to handle the children at the Park when they come for their visit with ” la petite Camy “. There is a special needs little girl which was very very attached to Camy, she’d walk away from her parent’s trailer without them noticing - always they could find her in our little enclosure sitting in the grass petting ” ma tit Camy”...
No, we are not ready yet .... eventually yes, because Kody needs a furpal - a buddy to play with but Daddy & Mummy needs to heal - needs to hold Kody and Belle in order to come out at the other end - ready and willing to open their hearts FULLY to THAT SPECIAL furbaby…
Yes Lily It hurts to lose a love one .. :-( I had to put down my little Cholé .. Three years ago .. It seems like it was yesterday .She was the love of my life.. She is still much with me as I have her ashes and the print of her paw in clay . I keep a little light above her urn and I often talk to her ..My therapy at the moment is to go to the Meet and Greet and the events to see the dogs,cuddle them and talk to the volunteer .. good night to you all
What a nice little dog! About his color, maybe a schnauzer mix? Almost same color as my Lucky boy, and same attitude when he knows I am preparing myself to go outside and leave him in the house.
This TC is a treasure to be cherished.
I understand 100% Lily. When we lost our sweet Lindsay after 15.5 years, we said that we were never getting another dog again, because the pain of the loss was too great. Then we decided to wait one year and decide, well, long story short, 3 months later we brought home a 10 week old puppy~ Grieving, its all VERY personal! We each need to do what feels right….Now, doesn’t this little creature’s face make you smile to no end??? Funny boy!
He guys, I went and viewed the pictures of the Bark n Brunch… recognized a few faces - Deb I knew you ” tout de suite ” ... looked like everyone was really enjoying themselves along with the furbuddies… some of the doggies I recognized too…some were adopted recently others later - some are still hoping for their own family.
Yes, grieving is personal - each of us deals with the various stages of grieving in different manners ... last nite my husband and I both viewed the Yorkies on Rosie’s Site….( glutton for punishment ) Bandit and Fripon.. both of us were drawn to Bandit even though Fripon is a beautiful little guy… both of us knew exactly why too… He reminds us of Camy - same face - same size - same everything except for their sexes. We cannot in all honesty try to get another Camy, we have to accept the fact that she is gone - we know we shall adopt again - we want to adopt when we fall for THAT dog not for a dog that REMINDS us of little Camy… I hope you guys understand what my husband and I mean. We hope those two little Yorkies find homes that will love them fully for who they are - not for whom they remind the family of.
You and your hubby are very good-hearted, honorable people, Lily - always willing to do the right thing. Of course you’re right that a furbaby should be adopted and loved for his or her own self - it’s only fair to them and to you. We adopted Belle because of her eyes they were so beautiful and reminded me of Maeggi’s. Man, is she completely the opposite of Maeggi in every respect, personality, likes, how she learns, etc. Only once we accepted her for herself in all her individual glory did we really start to appreciate her and she has blossomed ever since!
Now for T.C., I have to say he looks like the most adorable gremlin-like ewok I’ve ever seen! Debbie, I’m going to take you up on your challenge and bet that T.C. is a True Cuddle-bug!
Are you sure he is not a Brussels Griffon? They tend to have the beards and Ewok look about them.
Why is this gorgeous man not yet adopted! If I didn’t just get Rico, I’d be begging for this guy.

That’s the way the cookie crumbles, eh T.C.? Onwards and upwards, etc…the right family for you is around somewhere and at least we fans get to drool over you a little longer. In the meantime, why not volunteer and help out Mitsou and Zeke around the office - they seem to be doing a great job (although I heard that Mitsou has changed the adoption fee to be payable in dog cookies)!
Aw geez…. I can relate to the family though having a Senior myself… somedays, when Kody is throwing his squeaky toys - running like he wants to try out for Indy 500 - sliding into Belle, or running on top of her in his haste.. well…. let’s put it this way, if Camy wouldn’t have trained him properly, there would be an awful lot more vocal displeasure coming from Belle !!!! Belle at 13 just wants to lay down - snooze - have belly rubs and most of all ” doesn’t wanna be bothered while enjoying her beauty sleep “.
When I had Camy and Kody, if you guys noticed in the pictures, they were always side by side - Camy would run circles around Kody all of this under Belle’s supervision.. she loves to watch but doesn’t want to participate anymore. EXCEPT for her walks… she knows if she can’t make it home, we will carry her back
Animatch will find you a home little one not to worry - if you were a tad smaller, I’d seriously think about having you as a playpal for our little Destroyer - yep 4 more toys died today at the jaws of our little man :-(

No problem - at one point in time, I told my husband to come and have a look at T.C. I simply love his coloring and his beautiful eyes…. we were almost tempted but our little man is a tiny little thing and well, his safety is formost for us.. That’s him in the picture next to my name… the bow in his hair didn’t last long trust me… he pulled that off about 5 mins after he came from groomer lol… he looked at us like he was saying ” I am no woss Mom - take the darn bow off” lol.. Kody is now close to 4 lbs he has to lose at least 7 oz…. be glad when I can take him for short walks… the sidewalks are not cleaned of this winter’s salt so until then, it’s only running after toys in the house.

I’m not good enough for so and so…?”, but the thing that we have to understand is that Animatch is like a “Dating Service” of sorts! LOL…lots and lots of applications and wonderful volunteers just trying to MATCH UP people to doggies, for the best possible, long-term, favorable, FOREVER result~ Keep the faith! It’s all gonna be PERFECT for you in the end, (even if the end result is not exactly what you imagined!) Please believe me!

Well guys it’s official Lily - Kody & Hubby are headed up your way on July 1st… we are doing an overniter in Montreal so that I can meet with you guys… Hoping to finally meet the very illusive Joanne P. after 3 years ( will be 3 years on March 29th that we adopted our little Camy ) We are following our Vet’s recommendations and not bringing Belle with us. She will be staying at a boarding kennel which the furbabies loves… (all 3 stayed there when I was in Convention last October… naturally Camy was in the bay window looking out for Daddy, when we entered the yard.) If we can’t catch an Animatch event on the way up to Ontario we will try to catch one on our way back home. Who knows maybe by then, Animatch would have located a sister or brother for our little man !!!! Wouldn’t that be special now !!!! The Aunt’s will just have to get together and use their Karma I guess… Someone told me that was moving out time in Qc so one never knows who will be left behind ..... if the do, Lily will have outstretched arms ....

I don’t have too much experience with cats but I would imagine once he knows who that furry ball is, he’ll make his or her own decision about TC. My brother’s cat Hector couldn’t be bothered by Lola ... once in awhile they get into it because Miss Lola needs a playpal and Hector will be 21 if he isn’t yet.. Don’t worry about TC and your cat. From experience, it can take a few weeks before your cat gets used to having a dog running around HIS house… Just let it be and everything should be OK.

The walks with him are so easy , we washed him and he didn’t move he is an angel , we are soooo lucky.
With Roxxie.it will take some work ,but we are up for it.
My girls named him Smokey his fur color helped
