A Chihuahua-X Male named Suko

Suko is presently Adopted

Suko, a jet black, male, Chihuahua -X, was brought to the pound.; he is only 8 months old.  His family did not want him any longer.  It seemed like a good idea when they brought him home, but dogs—puppies especially—are lots of work and require a commitment.  His family was just not ready, willing, or prepared to give Suko a home for life.  This pint-size dog does have lots of energy.  He will run and fetch a ball as well as any Lab and does not tire easily.  Daily walks are a must for small dogs too, not only do they need the exercise but the mental stimulation that a walk provides.  Although Chis are small and do love to curl up on their human’s lap, it is a misconception that tiny dogs require little or no exercise.  Suko is a living creature, not a fashion accessory.  Toy dogs need not spend their life in a purse or in their human’s arms, they have four paws on the floor and they can use them.  Exercise is good for Suko and he truly does enjoy it.  Suko will need a guardian who is not gone all day as he is a puppy and does need some toilet training .  Chihuahuas are not dogs for young children; an adult home or one where children are older would be ideal.  Suko has a loving and sweet personality; he will be a wonderful companion to his new family.  If you think that Suko is the dog for you, please fill in the Adoption Form.

You couldn’t have said it better. Lex is a Chi-cross and at almost 8 years old now, he needs his daily walk and lots of mental stimulation. Indeed, it’s not because he’s small that he doesn’t need exercise. Walking offers physical and mental stimulation to both human and dog grin
