A Cocker Spaniel-X Male named Rusty

Rusty is presently Adopted

Rusty, a two-year-old, Spaniel-X, is a handsome boy with soulful eyes.  Would you like to guess from where he comes?  Yes, you are right…. that would be the pound or animal control.  Most of the pounds or animal control facilities are doing their best to keep up with the influx of stray and unwanted dogs.  Until the pet overpopulation problem is under control it is difficult to point the finger at any organization.  Most are doing their utmost to avoid seeing a healthy, adoptable, dog’s life ended.  Rusty is one of the lucky ones who has a second chance as a valued member of a family.  This fellow is fast and athletic; he will need lots of exercise and play sessions.  He may even be a talented agility dog.  Rusty gets along with other dogs and is actually sharing his large crate with another dog.  Rusty does lack confidence and can be a little shy.  Obedience training classes would go a long way in boosting his confidence.  Do you want to make a difference in Rusty’s life?  Please fill in the Adoption Form, if Rusty is the dog for you.

    Hi,
We are a family of 4, two parents and 2 children (8-11 years old).
We are so happy to finaly get to have a dog!!! (We were waiting to have a house and a courtyard for our new pet-friend.)
    We live in the Montreal.
Rusty seems to be exactly the type of dog we want! I had 1 quesiton thought: Is he a leader or would he be nice and tender with us?

Thanks to come back to us about him soon!

Rusty just arrived a few days ago and we will update his bio soon.  He is a high energy dog and will need lots of exercise.  The first step would be to fill in the Adoption Form.  We have to know if you would be a potential home for Rusty first, before saying that Rusty is the right dog for your family.

Thank you for deciding that your family’s dog will be an adopted one.

    Bonjour,
    Merci
    Karine

Julie:  Sounds like you might be a good family for one of our adoptees.  I suggest that you fill in the adoption form and we will then be in touch.

Last Saturday we went to see Rusty in Les Cedres, we have filled out the adoption form on-line (also last Saturday). We see that his status is reserved, since we have not received a call or email, we assume he is being adopted by another family, is this correct?

Glenn, the family who met Rusty last Saturday are the family who are taking him home today.  We do have your adoption form and a Volunteer will be calling to discuss soon.
