A Cock-a-poo Male named Rowdy

Rowdy is presently Adopted
Rowdy is a Cock-a-poo pup that is approximately 5 months old. Rowdy was bought at a pet shop ... people are still doing that! Rowdy has a Grade 1 heart murmur and his family felt that they could not cope. Rowdy’s heart murmur is a 1 out of 6; so we have no reason to panic. Many dogs have heart murmurs and they live normal lives. A grade 1 is a mild murmur and many pups often grow out of it. Regardless of what Rowdy’s future holds, he is a friendly, bouncy, puppy who needs a fur-ever home where he can grow up to be an awesome dog. Rowdy is somewhat shy and timid, he would benefit from enrolment in puppy classes. He needs a home where he is not alone during the day as he requires training, socialization and frequent potty breaks. If you have the time, patience, and commitment, Rowdy could be your best friend forever. Does Rowdy fit into your family picture? Please fill in the Adoption Form if you would like to adopt Rocky.
NOTE: Please do not contact us by phone about Rowdy. We will only contact potential guardians who meet the criteria for having a puppy.
“If it wasn’t for dogs, some people would never go for a walk.”

Yep! People ARE still doing that! and I guess it was a FINAL SALE, too!!! Not too worry gorgeous little ROWDY, Animatch will find you a family worthy of having you, heart murmur and all! As a footnote, at the dog park, our big dog plays HARD with a Boxer who has a heart murmur, (level ?) and you should see that Boxer go!!! Don’t try telling her that she is “defective”!!!
I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet pup, Rowdy. He is amazing! He is one affectionate little dog and he just wants to be loved! I hope he finds a peaceful and loving home, because he really deserves it. I wonder how big he will get full grown? Hmmm? Anyways, I hope one day soon people will stand up to these pet shop companies that only care about the bottom line. Are there any politicians out there that take a stand against these companies? People’s thinking need to change, that animals are not “things” nor are they “commodities” that can be bought, sold, or exchanged! I love my dog, that is an animatch rescue. He is a part of our family, and we love him to pieces! I hate being at home without him. I pray that all the animals out there without proper homes, get the peace, love, exercise and treats they so deserve!!!!
Does being reserved mean that I should not bother to apply. I was just mentioning to my husband that with my allergies we should look for a cock-a-poo/
“Reserved” does not mean the dog is reserved for someone. Rowdy has not been with Animatch for a long time so there are still some tests to be done at the vet etc…. Please fill out the application form if you feel Rowdy would be a good companion for you. Let’s not forget that Rowdy is only 5 months old - he will need a good family who is willing to give him all the attention he deserves such as obidiance class etcl Good luck my little Rowdy and good luck to you too Diane in finding your fury friend.
For anyone thinking of adopting Rowdy, please don’t be scared off by the heart murmur. I haded a toy poodle that I just had to put down last week at the age of 16yrs and who also had a heart murmur since he was a pup. He was at a stage 5-6. But it wasn’t the heart that gave out!!! Just age.
CORRECTION: “Reserved” does in fact mean that a dog already has a home and will soon be leaving us. Most often when a dog is shown as “reserved” it is because he/she has already met his/her new family before the dog was ready to go ... meaning he still needed surgery, or a follow-up vet visit, etc. This is the case wtih Rowdy. He has met the family who wants to adopt him but had not yet been sterilized. Rowdy is now scheduled for surgery and will be leaving us soon. He is no longer available
Sorry for the misunderstanding.
