Hey, the name is Pup Daddy and I’ve been a working dog most of my life, as were the other 8 dogs who came in with me. I belonged to a backyard breeder who used me as a stud. Being a stud is not all that it’s cracked up to be, there wasn’t much to do in my downtime except sit around in the cage waiting for my next job. After a while, I felt like a commodity and definitely never felt like a treasured pet. My only worth was ... well, I don’t have to go into detail; you get the picture. I feel bad that I was part of such a “business”. Many sweet, cute, little puppies that are sitting in pet shops or that are advertised on kijiji are sold by backyard breeders who breed indiscriminately. No telling how many puppies, old Pup Daddy here has sired! Now I want to put that life as far behind me as I can and I am so-oooo happy that I was released. I deserve a happy ending and I now want to enjoy everything that life has to offer. Just the simple freedom of no longer spending countless hours in a cage will be awesome. If you want to share your life with me, please do everything possible to show me how much you care. All dogs deserve happiness and love. No doubt, I will bring a smile to your face. I heard the story on CTV news and I knew that some of the doggies were at Animatch. I have been waiting for them to show up here and wouldn’t you know…Pup Daddy (who could not have a more appropriate name for his PAST life, definitely needs a new name)...is soooooooooooo awesomely gorgeous!!! I am so happy for him that his studding days are over~ Now, he can experience love, and nurturing and a fun-filled life! Good luck, Daddy! and YES! SCRUFFY DOGS GET MY VOTE! Hehe!

Just love the look and if I look at his ears, I may be tempted to believe he is ” Guess’s” Daddy !!
So many furbabies - what did this backyard breeder do ? Dump the aging furbabies in order to get a fresh lot ???? Thank God that at least these are ” FREE ” to be loved.

Yeah, Lily! There is a resemblance between Guess and Pup Daddy, LOL! Will this be the year of the flying nuns? It seems that those poor mill victims don’t stop coming, they’re everywhere! When will it stop?!!! Well, Pup Daddy, you see, many people already are in love with you! You will find a family in no time…

Now now, I just can’t for the life of me see why Pup Daddy is still around—there is something so ” je ne sais quoi ” about this little guy…. His eyes pull you in, like Debbie says - Lily breathe in, breath out… lol You are going to make some family very very happy indeed.

Pup Daddy’s name is so cute, just like him. I just can’t get his sweet face out of my mind and he deserves a good home with lots of love. Thank you Animatch for helping the animals get homes with all the love they need and deserve.

When it comes to dogs, my tastes are “the bigger the better” but for some reason this little guy caught my eye!

We often forget that these poor breeding females also need a
partner for a brief time. I guess the male just left in cage without even puppies to love, so very sad. Hope this sweet
little guy soon gets a long term love home. The dogs from
this breeder are the saddest lost looking dogs I think Animatch
has rescued they all deserve alot more from humans and know Joanne and Helen will ensure they have a great future life.

I was thinking something along the same lines…when you only know ONE WAY to BE…there defintely has to be an “adjustment” period. This little “stud muffin” needs to learn to be a loving pet….and not just an ill-treated, consistently mistreated, and overly-used and abused “sperm donor”! I have 100% faith….with alot of love and patience, he will be an AWESOME pet! Pup Daddy…still rooting for you, sweetheart! xxoo
