A Lab-X Male named Pictor

Pictor is presently Adopted
How do so many puppies end up in pounds, rescues and shelters all over the province? A puppy does not belong in a rescue or shelter but there are just too many pups/dogs and not enough homes. Until each and every person takes the responsibility of SPAYING/NEUTERING their dog, many puppies/dogs will never experience being a loved family member. Puppies should not be born unless you can assure them of a home and the right to live as long as they are able to enjoy life. Pictor and his littermates will have a good life unlike many who do not make it to a safe haven.
When you look at this face, you just want to pick him up and take him home. Nothing is cuter than a puppy who is full of curiosity and faces each day as a new adventure. Adopting a puppy is not a decision to be taken lightly. They are not toys but living, breathing, loving creatures with whom we share our life. In addition, puppies need constant attention. They need supervision, socialization, and training, and frequent potty breaks, sprinkled throughout the day. Therefore, a home where they are not alone more than a few hours is a must. Adding a furry addition to a household is exciting but it comes with a lot of work. The best way to teach a new four-legged family member proper behavior and make clear what is expected of him is to go to puppy training classes. Not to forget … the training is not just for the puppy, the new guardian also has a lot to learn! Training classes will help keep the guardian happy as their little tail-wagger. Daily exercise must be part of the pup’s daily routine – a good dog is a tired dog! Labs are quite rambunctious and they will need lot of walking and running.
Do you have what it takes to help Pictor grow up to be a good dog? If the answer is yes, please consider adoption and fill in the adoption form.
