Nikita is a 1.5-year-old, Boxer x Lab, who was given up by her family because she was running away. Her family also felt that she was too barky. Nikita is a mix of two very energetic breeds. Not only does she require lots of exercise but she also needs mental stimulation. Nikita should get a MINIMUM of two 30-minute walks per day in addition to some play time (catching a Frisbee, retrieving a ball, etc.) with her guardian. Dogs do get into trouble if they are bored. Nikita gets along with other dogs and has lived with children. Apparently, she also loves car rides. She has mastered the art of keeping all fours planted firmly on the ground; however, obedience training classes would go a long way to teaching her the basic commands and improving her doggy manners. A securely fenced yard is a must for this girl. Nikita is sleek, athletic, and willing to please; she just needs someone to take the lead. Are you ready to make the commitment to this awesome dog? I hope I could adopt Nikita even if I have a little brother of 2 years old in my family, because I think she could be the one I hope for several years ago.

Nikita is a beautiful girl. She is the perfect dog for me. She needs allot of excerise and so do I. She will be loved in my home and she will never be bored. Love and play time is always number one in my home.

Since you have already adopted from Animatch, you already know that Animatch’s goal is always to provide the best match for each dog. Although you have already adopted from Animatch, it does not necessarily mean that you are the best match for Nikita. Volunteers do not check these listings for applications as it is not a part of our adoption process. Please complete the online adoption application. Nikita is a wonderful dog! I volunteer at the center.
Wish I could adopt her. Can’t- not a good match for Richard and I at this time ( have 2 already Dutchess (basset 4?) and Shelby (lab 12.5yrs)
Nikita is a ready to be Einstein. Very smart,focused and very observant. With training, in a class setting , she will be your best buddy-willing and well behaved to go anywhere! Did I mention she loves to play?
