A Toy Poodle-X Female named Mitsou

Mitsou is presently Adopted

Hey there, I’m Mitsou.  Not only am I petite and adorable, I’m feisty too!  One look at my soft brown eyes and you’ll be hooked.  I was given up with my mom, Macbeth, and my brother, who are both now in their forever homes.  I’m a very sweet girl looking for my perfect family.  I’m always up for some cuddling and belly rubs.  Although I weigh just 6 lbs., you can’t be carrying me around ALL the time since I can become a little diva and be possessive of my human.  No one likes an armpit piranha, so I am told, therefore I need to use my legs and be on the floor.  I am quite confident around other dogs and have the reputation of being a “little miss bossy pants”.  Since I have never lived with children, an adult home or one with teenagers would best suit me. If you adopt me, I’d like you to know that I love my nylabones; I am very good at hiding them.  I do enjoy a good walk too; I’m learning that there is a whole world out there to discover and some different smells too!  My greatest wish is that I find my furever home soon.  Would it be yours?  Don’t waste any time, fill in the Adoption Form.  Maybe we can make it happen!

Just love the bio - adore the pictures of ” Miss Bossy Pants ” she has great features -  every expression is priceless - there is one in particular that I simply had to laugh - the one with her tag number showing 11-281 it’s like she’s saying:  ” Who called me an armpit piranha   ????”

Viviane this site is not just a place to adopt your furbaby - it’s a place where you can make friends - a place where you can voice your opinion ( and set the place on fire lol ) but mostly; if you have an issue with your furbaby someone out there being the volunteers at Animatch or our growing family wink will point you to the right contact.
We experienced this with Camy and her health problem - Vets didn’t think we would bring her as far as we did but Animatch guided me towards someone with experience in homecooking their furbaby’s food…..yes, in the end we did lose her but we double our time with her.  This is a great place to come HOME to after your work day grin

Nicolas if you want her why not apply for her ???  Fill in adoption form at the top but remember one thing:  The Cute Little Face in this picture is a real live pup…. it comes fully loaded - you have to committ to working with this furbaby - being housetrainning - behavior problems and I could go on and on….... If a person is not willing to put in the time and effort then please don’t step up to the plate…. these furbabies have been thru so much - breaks my heart when I see them come back because they are hard to housetrain etc..

Nicolas, you just remember when you get older that when you want a dog ... adopt, don’t shop.  Rescue dogs are the way to go.  Not sure how old you are but while you are waiting to get old enough to take on the responsibility of a dog, educate yourself and those around you on what it means to have a dog.

Wow!  Mitsou looks more Yorkie than poodle, and not very much like her Mom.  Daddy must have been a looker, eh?!  I think she is absolutely adorable and I’m jealous of Françoise!! wink  I’d love to adopt her just so I can change her name to Miss Bossy Pants!  LOL I love it!!  No chance of that with two of my own and keeping room for a foster but it is a nice daydream.

Nicholas, I love your passion and determination.  Your parents must be very proud of you!

I also have a piranha, although her feet are firmly planted on the ground. Ten-year-old Zena no longer has enough teeth to do any damage, but she still defends her territory zealously. Don’t dare to walk on her sidewalk! She will let you know when you are intruding on her territory. Territorial dogs are a challenge, but they are so sweet with their family.

I bet Mitsou has the potential to be an awesome companion for somebody. Zena is so sweet with us, although she does protect us from “bad” people walking on “our” sidewalk. We were walking on the sidewalk when a woman with a toddler approached and made no effort to move over. I took both dogs into the street and got a comment in a very snippy voice “We can share the sidewalk. My daughter loves dogs” Well, yes, if you want your kid traumatised for life when Zena goes into defense mode. People without dogs need to realise that those of us with dogs do things for a reason. If Zena had lunged at the kid, I am sure her snippiness would have escalated. I was trying to protec both the kid and Zena. Mitsou, you can be a great dog for someone.

I don’t understand why this little dog is still there!  She looks so adorable, I would love to adopt her but I already have 2 dogs, a chocolate lab. and a maltese. I have a question for you, why don’t Animatch have foster families for some of the dogs that have been there for a long time? This would make room for more dogs to be adopted, and the dogs in foster families woud benefit from it. I am addicted to this site and I think that you do a wonderful job with all these dogs.

Lily has tears in her eyes.. I am so freaken happy for Mitsou ... I hope Mia that you are the one trying out Mitsou - I can see where elderly people would be enchanted to have the opportunity of sharing their lives if only for an hour with her.  When I go visit at the nursing home, a family member brings a cat to visit her guardian- there are so many hands wanting to touch / pet / cuddle that animal.  I observed how a ( what’s the word I’m looking for) group of elderlies doing nothing suddenly comes alive just to have the opportunity of having an animal on their laps.  Wouldn’t you guys think ” little bossy pants ” could brighten a room just with her looks !!!!
If it’s another family, I say congratulations this little one needs to be enjoying life to the fullest…. couldn’t be more cute with her various looks than this one.

To end the suspense.  No Nicholas’ family did not adopt MItsou.  Since having a dog is an adult responsibility, we would need his parents to fill in form and of course do an interview with them.  They too must remember that Nicholas’ life will be changing in the coming years, and they must be committed to the dog for its entire life.
