My name is Margarita and here is my story. Before coming to Animatch I had lost all hope that things could improve. Boy, was I wrong! I could sense that my family did not want me; in fact, that is how I ended up wandering the streets. I found myself sitting at the pound and my family never came to claim me. Then my life changed when Helen looked at me all sad and forlorn. She said, “you’re coming with me, Margarita!” Well, here I am at the Animatch Centre with nice Volunteers, tasty food, a warm bed, and vet care. I feel like a new dog. I spend a lot of time playing with my furry friends, discovering new toys, and going for walks. I didn’t do much of that before I arrived. I’m shy at first but you will discover that I’m incredibly sweet once you get to know me. I enjoy the attention of humans and if you scratch me, I will shower you with little wet doggy kisses. The Animatch crew’s best guess is that I am part Chihuahua; whatever else is in my mix only makes me more interesting. As you can see in one of my photos, I a very athletic. I have heard that some small dogs are very talented at agility; I would like to give it a try. I don’t want to miss out on all the fun stuff that goes along with being a dog, so I need a human who will be committed to my care and well being for the rest of my life. If you take me home, I promise that I will always run to greet you, I will always do my happy dance when our eyes meet, and I will be your loyal companion to my last days. My life started out sad but it’s going to end “happily ever after”. I’m the total package, so tie a bow on me and take me home! First you need to fill in the Adoption Form.

She looks so much like Atom (formerly Adam). The colours are different, but the shape is nearly identical! Best of luck little one!
