A Shih Tzu Female named Jolly

Jolly is presently Adopted

Hi, my name is Jolly, and I am a 2-year-old Shih Tzu who just arrived at the Centre.  I was really shy and embarrassed when I first got here.  You see, I am a matted mess and I smell really bad; T-Bone says that he has smelled fire hydrants that smell better than me.  The nice people at the Centre are just letting me settle in before they start cleaning me up.  My canine pals tell me not to worry that my photos aren’t as nice as theirs, because after I am groomed, an incredible photographer, named David, is going to do a photo shoot with me.  They say I will look good enough to be on the cover of the “Dogs in Canada” magazine.  I can’t wait!  Because I am so stinky, I thought that the Volunteers would not be too keen on spending time with me.  I was wrong, a Volunteer who smelled all clean and fresh took me in her arms and cuddled me and told me my life was about to change for the better.  We went for a long walk and I enjoyed being outside in the fresh air and loved the smell of the freshly cut grass.  And before putting me back in my crate, she kissed and cuddled me again.  I ended up at the pound somehow and I really thought that was where I was going to stay since I didn’t look all cute and cuddly.  The nice lady named, Helen, said she saw the little sparkle in my eyes and she knew that I deserved a chance.  Like all dogs, I live in the present, so I really can’t tell you about my past.  I am told that I can look forward to tomorrow and my yesterdays can be forgotten.  I’ll give you an update in the next few days.  In the meantime, if you would like to be the one to give me my furever home, please fill in the Adoption Form.

I don’t know WHO writes these bios…but it’s hard to type through my tears. Poor little sweetheart, better days are ahead, guaranteed!
