Hey, Dante here and I’m really happy to be at the Animatch Centre with all my fur buds and the nice humans who take care of all of us. I’m not afraid or nervous anymore. You see I went through a very scary experience for a young pup like me. My family moved out of their apartment and they forgot me! How could they have forgotten me, they must have realized when they unpacked the truck that I was missing. Anyways, Animatch promises to find me a family who will open up their heart and their home to me. My new family will give me a second chance at a safe and happy life. I’m only 5 months old and I have a lot of growing to do. The best guess as to my breed is Labrador x Bernese Mountain Dog, but I may have another breed or two thrown in for good measure. The more breeds in my mix, the more good qualities I will grow into. I do need some work at toilet training, so a home where I am not alone all day is very important. Also, you would be doing me a favour by taking me to obedience training classes so I can be welcome wherever I go with you. The best thing about training is that we can do it together, like a team. I do love other dogs, so a home with another dog would be great for me. Exercise is very important for a pup and I will need lots of it. Daily walks – rain or shine, hot or cold – are a must. I’m always up for a game of fetch or Frisbee. Yup, I know adopting me is a long term commitment (I hear that word so-ooo often since I’ve come to Animatch) but I am so worth it. I’m ready to do whatever it takes to prove that I’m the dog you’ve been waiting for! Fill in the adoption form, if you feel that I am “the one”.

Oh, Dante, they FORGOT you? I BET they “forgot” you!!! You know what, though? It’s a good thing that you wound up at Animatch, because your life will be changed forever, for the better! Poor little guy! He definitely has some Berner in him, the fluff on his ears is hard to miss. Only good times ahead Dante, you deserve it.

Asking people to be reasonable/responsible is asking way too much in this day and age…..if they no longer wanted Dante all they had to do is call a rescue center. I am sure Animatch or the many centers around the Montreal area are in the phone book…. From this day on; a better life is heading your way - only the best of the best for you little one
