A Female named Candy

Candy is presently Adopted
Candy is a 12-year-old dog who is a compasionate placement. The reason she is an Animatch Adoptee has little to do with Candy, as she was well-loved by her former owner. Unfortunately, Candy’s owner died and she was left behind. There are many misconceptions about senior dogs; one being that a dog like Candy has outlived her purpose or is not worth keeping. Animatch feels that this sweet and deserving dog gave her beloved owner so much love and joy in her senior years, that she deserves the same. Candy needs a quiet, peaceful home where she will be given the care and attention that she thrives on. Candy has a lot of love to give. Will you let her give it to you. Please fill in the Adoption Form if you would like to adopt Candy.

Je voulais juste dire que j’ai un teckel de 12 ans et elle est merveilleuse. Elle est un peu plus lente qu’avant, dort un peu plus qu’avant mais nous l’aimons tellement, elle est tout simplement un membre de notre famille. Les vieux chiens sont merveilleux, old dogs are the best dogs!
N’hesitez pas d’adopter un chien juste parce qu’il est vieux, ils ont beaucoup d’amour a donner.
Brigitte.
Senior dogs make great companions and seem to just fit in to your home lifestyle very quickly.
Most often these dogs are teaching you what they know.
I have had a senior named Oliver who has been part of our home going on 4 years. He was adopted through Animatch. I have adapted to his ways, he is loving and full of life.
It is never to late to adopt a senior dog, you will certainly extend his/her life and yours also.

If a new picture from Candy could be taken…I think it would
give her a better chance for adoption…all other pics are
just so beautiful…Congradulations for your good work !
I’m waiting on an answer to adopt Candy. I think she needs all the TLC she can get after all that she’s given.
Lynn
please lynn dont let her wait tooo long, she needs you and all the loving she can get, that baby will give it back 100 times over. hope u get her, and god bless.
Do any of you have the address for Animatch? I’m going there tomorrow to meet Candy but forgot to get the address.

Lynn
Lynn, I will send you the address
You are an amazing person. This makes me so happy to hear
I hope you can provide a home for Candy - it makes me sad to see a Senior dog having to go thru the trauma of adoption. They have loved their human compagnon all their life then one day they are flapping their wings in free fall - the world they have lived in for 12 years is all gone. I wonder if Candy knows the meaning of death - she knows her best friend is no longer there - we animal lovers know that Candy needs to share her remaining days secure in a loving home - loving arms. If your that person Lynn go for it - you wont be sorry. There is no other feeling than to love and be loved in return. KEEP US POSTED
Hello Lynn…I hope your “ON TRIAL” is positive and you decide to make it permanent. Candy looks like a wonderful little “fur baby” and I know she will give you back as much love as you give her. We have adopted (2) little fur babies and they give back as much as we give…actually they give back more. Be patient and it will all come together and you will never look back. You will ask yourself “what did we do before Candy came home”.
Good luck to you both.
Barbara
Je suis si contente de voir que Candy a trouvé une famille! Félicitations à Lynn. Je vous souhaite beaucoup de bonheur avec elle.
Hi Everyone,
I thought that I’d provide an update. Candy has been with us for just over a week now and is doing really well. She’s a real growler and that’s how she let’s us know when she wants something or isn’t happy with a situation. She has a really good appetite for a dog her age and can’t wait to be fed! Candy isn’t a ‘velcro’ dog like our Westie and that works great. She’s has taken over Daisy’s basket and declared it her own which is OK because Daisy prefers to be on us.
Lynn
HI LYNN…..GLAD TO HEAR THAT CANDY IS DOING WELL, DOES THIS MEAN THAT YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE HER on trial “PERMANENT”. I REALLY HOPE SO BECAUSE SHE LOOKS LIKE A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE GIRL.
PATIENCE IS THE ANSWER, I KNOW, BECAUSE WE HAVE HAD OUR LITTLE BAILEY FOR OVER A YEAR AND SOMETIMES HE REVERTS BACK TO THE BEGINNING BUT ONLY FOR A SHORT TIME AND THEN HE IS HIS LOVING LITTLE SELF AGAIN.
I GUESS, LIKE HUMANS, THEY ALSO REMEMBER THE PAST SOMETIMES AND EITHER GET ANXIOUS OR SAD.
GOOD LUCK!!!
Hi Everyone,
Just to let you know that Candy has been made a permanent member of the Dubord / Bouchard family!! She is a good dog with a sometimes old age personality…. but we love her already. I’ll keep you posted on her progress.
