My name is Bamboo and I will be four months old on August 6th. I was brought to Animatch so that I could be in a safe place where I would get good food, water, veterinary care (they say that I’m going to be sterilized next week – don’t know what that means!), exercise, and of course lots of cuddles. I am a mix and I most certainly have some Shepherd in me and possibly some Collie; maybe I’m a Sheperdwhatsit or even a Colliesomething. For sure, I will be a beautiful dog who is very worthy of your love. If you know what it takes to raise a puppy, you know that I will need a home where I am not alone all day. I have lots to learn and need someone around so that I can get out and socialize and be the best dog that I can be. You will also need to take me to dog obedience training. I’m ready to start puppy training and I know that I will make you proud. I want to be a well-behaved dog so that we will be welcome wherever we go. Lots of exercise is very important for a dog like me. I’m going to be quite large so be prepared to be out enjoying nature every day – I don’t mind rain and I think I’m going to love that white stuff they call snow. What do you say; do you think we can be a team? I will try to be patient and wait for the right home to come along but I am a pup and I am very anxious and excited to start my new life with my fur-ever family. That is by far the cutest way of writing this dog up.
Who ever wrote the info on Bamboo, good job!
Makes me want to adopt him right now.
Was this puppy a stray? It doesnt really say so much.

God, this site makes me want to adopt all of them.

I really hope more people start to realize that there are tons of deserving dogs begging for good homes and stop supporting the numerous breeders that sell puppies to any buyer and pet stores who in turn sell puppies to who? Unprepared owners… (this applies to cats and all other animals too…)

i read about bamboo and i love it i would like to know how much he is…im looking for a puppy that will get along with my 2dogs i did have a 3rd one but she currently passed away i miss her dearly.

Bamboo is adorable. I met him in Pointe Claire about 9 weeks ago. Can’t believe no one has adopted him yet. Maybe an updated picture of him would help to show his size now.

These new pictures of Bamboo are great. He looks like he could have some golden (lab or retriever in him). His poses look at lot like our Buckley. Bamboo, you are going to be one great dog. (then all dogs are great!)
