Meet Azure, a two-month-old, Cocker Spaniel puppy. Azure, along with her two littermates, was born blind or with very limited vision. The blindness is a result of a breeding project gone wrong. You see, a “so-called breeder” decided to breed for unusual or exotic colours. With all the dogs/puppies in the world—in just about every colour or mix of colours in the universe— this person still felt it was necessary to produce puppies for colour. Azure will also eventually undergo surgery on her legs since she has luxating patellas. Despite their disabilities, Azure and her sisters are typical puppies with unlimited curiosity. Like all blind dogs, Azure’s other senses are heightened – she follows voices and footsteps. She has the potential of leading a normal life. Azure’s special trait is that she gets the “crazies” every now and then and will run like the wind – yes, blind dogs do have personalities! When she is tired or worried, she is the first to find her bed. Azure is ready to show you what it means to make the best with what you have. She doesn’t need pity, she needs a home. I just cannot comment on the ” project gone wrong ” I think I’d be ban from Animatch for life AND it would give someone that is just lurking in the shadows a chance to copy my comments to be used at a later time, when it’s convenient.
However, I am confident that these puppies will find their furever home via Animatch - I am positive they will be able to function and be wonderful companions to some special families.
I will keep my comments to myself because if I verbally express my thoughts and feelings on that so called breeder you might never let me comment here again.
I hate people sometimes. That is the best I can come up with right now as I am so enraged.

Yes ladies I had a hard time sleeping last night .. Thinking of those Three little innocent burbabies ..A breeder like that should be fine very heavily for this action ..I pray that they find good and loving home ,,
I think this breeder should be heavily fined as well and banned from ever owning a dog again!
Tears in my eyes…mixed feelings of anger and sadness…why do mankind do this??? Just glad that these dogs are at Animatch and will find the best and appropriate home for them. Hugs…
it’s not often I’m at a lose for words!!!!! Maybe it’s a good thing I can’t find the words!!!
Don’t worry ladies, I won’t hold my comments back cause we live in a free world, and with bastards like this breeder, who believes in playing God, think that they can do whatever they want, unfortunately this moron was apart of another experiment, he is the product of what you get when a brother and sister and possibly their father engage in sexual acts and the sister conceives the child, you get a scum of the earth person like this breeder. This moron should have not received a fine, but actually jail time, cause these poor beautiful creatures have to suffer from a disability. Hopefully life has cruel and painful consequences waiting for this piece of no good, hope you burn in hell, sorry excuse of a human being, but let’s face it, he doesn’t know on what being a human being really means! This dogs are beautiful creature and I hope, you will find a permant home where they can enjoy the rest of their lives!! These puppy’s are warriors that won’t let one hurdle stop them!!

Poor babies didn’t deserve this at all…. sincerely hope they find a home that will be at their sides furever. They do not need to be bounced around later on in their lives neither. Hope whoever adopts have furever on their mind.

It’s my pleasure, but it’s not hard when you speak the truth and it’s even easier when you are speaking about garbage. Just very grateful there is an organization like animatch that brings back faith in the human race. Your countless efforts and giving dogs a second chance (when honestly they only need one) at a better life! And also all the people in this world like yourselves which believe that even animals are precious and apart of this world just like us!!
Talk is talk everyone agrees let’s find a home. I’m spreading the word. Any way to find out the name or location of where they came from? So we can warn people not to buy for them???

Azure’s new name will be “Shiloh”. SOOOO beautiful!!! I can’t wait to meet her!! I am just as excited as my friend and her daughter! LOL!

Are there any crazy dog lovers out there? Are there any of you that want to make a change? I mean about saving/helping dogs that are hurt, lost and neglected… Well… If there are.. you must read this…

I was looking at the animatch video, and I clicked on another, and another. Until I had tears in my eyes… (a lot) I also saw pictures of dogs that were very skinny, hurt, and abandoned. Then I said to myself ” I want to make a change.” But how? I am only one person. So I need your help. With one person, not much can happen, but with 20, things are more possible. Then by telling your family and friends, it can build up to 50, 100, 1000. Who knows what can happen. Any age, gender it does not matter. You can be the change. have any of you herd about Free the Children? It started with one person, Krieg Kielburger, when he was around 10, and his brother, and now there are 10000 people that have joined. They help kids that are starving in Africa, Haiti, Asia…and even more. This is what can happen. Maybe you think it is weird, making a club for this reason, but imagine being that dog that is suffering and is abandonned.If you would like to help me, just send me an email to bkamke01@lbpearson.qc.ca.
