A Miniature Poodle Male named Ace

Ace is presently Adopted

Ace is a 7-year-old, Miniature Poodle, who was given up along with his buddy Tofu, because his family was moving and could not take him along.  Ace is shy at first but warms up quickly once he is secure in his environment.  He is good with dogs and has lived with a cat.  Ace comes alive when he is taken for a walk—he walks very proudly with his head held high.  Ace would be a great dog for someone who is looking for a dog who knows the ins and outs of living in a home.  Although he will need daily walks and regular exercise, he is also content to snuggle beside his human while they read the paper or watch a television show.  Ace’s previous owners said that he was afraid of small children, which is not unusual in small dogs.  An adult home or one where children are older would best suit this Poodle Boy.  Like many Miniature Poodles, Ace does like to hear himself talk (bark) so no apartment or condos for this fellow.  Are you looking for a sweet and affectionate dog to share your life?  Please fill in the Adoption Form if you would like to adopt Ace.

I was surprised too Debbie to see both were no longer on Trial….... it is sad for us to see them back up for adoption BUT better for the furbaby if he/she doesn’t fit with that specific family.  There are many families out there so maybe just maybe one will be the forever one.  Good Luck Babies.

He is too cute and pulls at my heart strings. He might be just what I am looking for.  I want to walk and play with him.

I bet he would be a very handsome fella with a proper poodle haircut.

I also have requested to see Ace (also Bacardi) but no answer.  What else does one have to do?

Jan:  We do not make appts for people to meet dogs unless we feel that it will be a good match.  Ace is probably not a good candidate for apt/condo living—he has separation anxiety in the form of incessant barking when he is along.  He has already gone out to an apt. and had to come back.  Bacardi has spent 10 years as an unneutered dog marking his territory—old habits are hard to break!  We feel that you situation may not be ideal for a dog like Bacardi who will need toilet training 101!  We have not forgotten about you; however, we will only contact you when we have the right match.  We want all our adoptions to be successes—first and foremost for our adoptees/dogs and secondly for our potential adopters.
