Wilson has already become a big part of our family

Wilson (AKA Comic) has already become a big part of our family and we are so grateful to the Animatch volunteers for working to find him his forever home. He’s very high energy, which we knew when we adopted him. We go on one hour walks every day, which is great for getting the wiggles out when he is feeling hyper. He also has our other two schnauzers to keep him busy. The 3 of them are great together.
He sleeps at night in one of my son’s beds and follows me around the house all day long. His favourite things are to cuddle on the couch until he falls into a deep sleep in your arms and to play hard with a selection of toys, especially squeaky toys. He’s a smart little boy, and has quickly learned not to beg and has not had any accidents in the house. He has met lots of doggie friends on his walks and likes to play with everyone he meets.
We are looking forward to bringing him camping in the summertime in our trailer where we can go on hikes with him, which I am sure he will love. For now, walks through the neighbourhoods of St-Lazare will have to do.
I am so glad that Sue told me about Animatch and the wonderful dogs that you have there. It was a long road for Wilson to get to our home, and we are so glad for the dedication of everyone invloved in saving him.

This is a first for me ... Wilson/Comic actually sleeping! Congratulations, he’s obviously right where he belongs and getting the exercise he need!
Joanne, I laughed out loud when I saw your comment. You obviously know Wilson well! He is walking at least an hour a day with me outside and I even tried him on a treadmill which he loved - just in case!
I am so happy to hear Wilson (great name!) has such a wonderful home and is doing so well!! I fostered Wilson back when his name was Comic and fell in love with the little guy. I would have loved to keep him but as I already have two goldens my husband would have disowned me! I am so happy he found a great home. I miss the little tyke!
He has actually gotten quite calm. he has his bouts of energy, but is quite content now to cuddle up to us and relax. He plays really well with our younger female schnauzer. I can’t imagine him not being with us now.
I thought he would calm down because we had him for just over two weeks and he was nuts the first few days but gradually calmed down. He played really well with my young golden. I am just thrilled he’s got a good home.
