What a dog!

Mika, now 4 1/2 months old, discovered all on her own that she likes elderberries. After she cleared off the lowest clusters from our bush (the starlings took care of the highest) she started leaping to reach the berries overhead and for the past week or two has been conducting a daily harvest, jumping as many times as she is allowed and obviously enjoying the snack. The elderberries seem to have no adverse effects on her system, and I have no ambition to convert them into jam or wine, so she is welcome to them!
