We love our long walks together

Nitro is full of energy and I could see how someone that has not had a dog, or a large dog, would find it hard. We love our long walks together. It was hard when I was off my foot….kids did not walk as much or as fast as I would. Nitro did react to that a bit. He became destructive, but that is getting under control. Around the 4th week, he (Nitro) appeared to go through some separation anxiety. He was not crated, but he was gated into an area with his toys and bed. It was great but then he decided that he did not want to be there. He actually escaped (I think he is a magician)and took every advantage of it. He managed to open closed doors, cupboards, etc. We decided to crate him and he enjoys it. He actually goes in there when we are home. He loves being around the family. Now that I am able to walk him and take him out for runs, he is able to burn off energy. He is so quick and fast and still has that puppy mentality.

All in all, things are good. I love him to death. I will let you know how it goes with Larry and I will send you some pictures.
